The Outcome
What Would Better Look Like?
Lift, train, or work in the yard without bracing for another flare-up.
Pick up your kids or grandkids without thinking twice.
Stop worrying that one wrong movement will throw your back out again.
That is what this assessment is designed to help you work toward by showing you why your back keeps holding you back in the first place.
The Pattern
Does This Sound Familiar?
- Your back feels better for a while, then flares up again
- Sitting, lifting, golf, yard work, or long walks bother your back
- Stretching, foam rolling, massage, chiropractic, or PT only helped temporarily
- You have been told your imaging looks fine, but you still do not feel right
- You want your whole body assessed, not just the painful area
- You do not have time for three appointments every week
The First Aha Moment
Your Back Might Not Be the Problem
Think of your back like the employee who is constantly covering for everyone else.
If your hips do not move well, your core does not provide enough control, or your upper back is stiff, your lower back often picks up the slack. It works harder than it should until it finally starts to hurt.
Most treatment focuses on the employee who is complaining. At SYMYO, we look for the part of your body that stopped doing its job.
Instead of guessing, we measure how your whole body works together.

Many of our patients have already tried chiropractic care, physical therapy, massage, injections, stretching, or strength training before they come to us.
What makes SYMYO different is not one magic treatment.
We start by measuring how your body actually moves so we can solve the right problem in the first place.

FAQ
Questions Before You Book?
How much does the back pain assessment cost?
The new-patient Back Pain Assessment is $99. It includes the 60-minute evaluation, Movement Age testing, your Physical Health Report, and the separate 30-minute Findings Review with your 12-week plan.
How long does the assessment take?
The in-clinic evaluation is 60 minutes. Your Findings Review is a separate 30-minute appointment after Dr. Mitch has reviewed your results and prepared your report and plan.
Why do you assess more than my lower back?
The way your hips, upper back, core, balance, and strength work together can change how much stress reaches your lower back. Looking at your whole body gives Dr. Mitch a clearer picture of what may be contributing to your symptoms.
Do I have to start treatment afterward?
No. There is no obligation to begin care. You keep your Physical Health Report and personalized plan either way.
Do you take insurance?
SYMYO is a private-pay clinic and does not bill insurance directly. A detailed receipt or superbill may be available for you to submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your plan.
What should I wear?
Wear clothes you can move comfortably in, such as shorts or leggings and a T-shirt.
What if SYMYO is not the right fit?
Dr. Mitch will tell you honestly and help you understand an appropriate next step.
What if the assessment does not give me clarity?
If you are not 100% clearer about what is going on and what to do next, Dr. Mitch will refund your $99. You still keep your report and plan.
