Is This Assessment Right for You?

Dr. Mitch personally guiding a movement assessment

This assessment may be a good fit if any of these sound familiar.

  • Pain or stiffness gets better for a while, then comes back.
  • You feel tighter, weaker, or more limited than you think you should.
  • You have tried stretching, massage, chiropractic, physical therapy, or random exercises without lasting results.
  • You want to understand what may be causing the problem instead of continually chasing symptoms.
  • You want your whole body evaluated instead of only the area that bothers you.
  • You want to keep lifting, golfing, running, traveling, or staying active for years to come.

Why the Assessment Exists

Why Pain and Stiffness Can Keep Coming Back

Many people assume the area that hurts or feels tight is the problem. Often, it is not.

One part of your body may be taking on extra work because another area is not moving or producing strength as well as it should.

Limited mobility, reduced strength, poor movement mechanics, balance deficits, and other movement limitations can all contribute to the problem.

Instead of guessing, SYMYO measures how your entire body moves before recommending treatment.

The SYMYO Method

A Better Way to Make Progress That Lasts

Most approaches focus on only one part of recovery. At SYMYO, we combine all three.

01

Reduce

Reduce pain, irritation, and movement restrictions with hands-on treatment so moving feels easier.

02

Restore

Restore mobility, stability, and movement with personalized rehabilitation based on what your assessment finds.

03

Reinforce

Reinforce those improvements with strength training so your body is better prepared for everyday life and the activities you enjoy.

The assessment shows us where you need to begin and what each phase should focus on.

Working With SYMYO

If You Decide to Work With Us

Your treatment recommendations are based on how much support your body needs—not a predetermined appointment schedule.

Most of your plan is completed at home, at work, or in your gym through simple daily routines. In-clinic visits are recommended when they are useful for helping you make progress.

Most people visit about once every one to two weeks while following their plan between visits.

Your program is built around your assessment, your goals, and your life. No automatic three-times-a-week schedule and no hours of exercises every day.
