FAQ

Services FAQ

Where should I start?+

Start with the discovery page. It explains how SYMYO evaluates movement and helps determine whether the Movement Assessment is the right next step.

Does everyone begin with a Movement Assessment?+

Every personalized plan begins by understanding how your body moves. The Movement Assessment is the main way SYMYO measures posture, mobility, strength, balance, control, compensation patterns, Movement Age®, and related findings.

What is the difference between The SYMYO System and The SYMYO Method?+

The SYMYO System is Measure, Understand, Improve. It describes how SYMYO evaluates your body and builds the plan. The SYMYO Method is Reduce, Restore, Reinforce. It describes how treatment and rehabilitation progress.

What is the difference between Sports Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation?+

Sports Therapy is the broader movement-based care approach for pain, stiffness, recurring limitations, and performance issues. Sports Rehabilitation is the more specific process of rebuilding mobility, strength, control, confidence, and activity tolerance after pain or injury.

What makes Sports Chiropractic different from a standard chiropractic visit?+

At SYMYO, chiropractic care is integrated with movement assessment, rehabilitation, mobility, and strength training. The focus is not adjustments alone; it is helping the body move and function better.

Is Movement Age® a separate appointment?+

No. Movement Age® is a specialized entry point and reporting lens within the same comprehensive Movement Assessment process.

Is the golf assessment a separate service?+

No. The golf-focused page is a specialized entry point into the same comprehensive Movement Assessment, with recommendations presented around golf goals.

Is SYMYO only for athletes?+

No. SYMYO works with active adults, former athletes, golfers, runners, lifters, desk workers, parents, and adults over 40 who want to keep moving well.

Do you accept insurance?+

SYMYO is a private-pay clinic. A superbill may be provided when appropriate, but coverage and reimbursement depend on the patient’s plan.

How long does a personalized program last?+

Program length depends on the assessment findings, goals, symptoms, strength needs, mobility needs, and long-term plan. SYMYO does not use one generic timeline for every person.
